Description

A vibrant and flavorful slaw combining crunchy vegetables and zesty flavors, perfect for summer barbecues.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sliced beef salami
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup diced pickles
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the cabbage, carrots, pickles, red onion, and salami.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lime juice, chili powder, salt, and pepper to create the dressing.
  3. Pour the dressing over the vegetable mixture and toss until well combined.
  4. Let it sit for about 15 minutes in the refrigerator before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve cold as a side dish.

Notes

For extra crunch, try adding chopped bell peppers or corn. Use Greek yogurt for a lighter dressing.
