Description

A delightful and simple recipe for making homemade peach jam, perfect for preserving summer flavors.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups peeled and chopped peaches
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 package pectin (1.75 oz)
  • 5 cups sugar (adjust to preference)

Instructions

  1. Combine the chopped peaches and lemon juice in a large pot.
  2. Add the pectin and stir until dissolved.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
  4. Once boiling, stir in the sugar and bring back to a rolling boil for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat, pour into sterilized jars, and seal.
  6. Allow to cool completely before storing in the refrigerator or pantry.

Notes

Use ripe peaches for the best flavor. Make sure all jars are thoroughly sterilized before filling.
