Description
A sweet and creamy dessert that’s both simple and elegant, perfect for gatherings or special treats at home.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups of white chocolate, chopped
- 2 cups of heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 pre-made tart shell (9-inch)
- Fresh berries for garnish (optional)
- Mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Melt the white chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water. Stir until smooth and let cool slightly.
- Whip the heavy cream with sugar and vanilla extract in a separate bowl until soft peaks form.
- Fold the melted white chocolate into the whipped cream gently until fully combined.
- Pour the mousse into the prepared tart shell and smooth the top.
- Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes, or until set.
- Garnish with fresh berries and mint leaves if desired before serving.
Notes
Ensure the white chocolate is properly melted to avoid clumps. Over-whipping the cream can make it grainy. Refrigeration is crucial for texture.
