- 1 cup strong brewed coffee
- 1/4 cup amaretto liqueur
- 2 cups mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- Ladyfingers
- Cocoa powder (for dusting)
- Fresh cherries (for garnish)
Instructions
- Mix the brewed coffee and amaretto. Set aside.
- Whip the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the mascarpone cheese into the whipped cream gently until well combined.
- Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee-amaretto mixture briefly, then layer them in a serving dish.
- Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Top with a layer of cherry pie filling.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the mascarpone layer on top.
- Dust with cocoa powder and garnish with fresh cherries.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, before serving.
