Description

A delicious recreation of Texas Roadhouse Smothered Chicken featuring juicy chicken breasts topped with melted mozzarella, sautéed mushrooms, and green onions.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sautéed mushrooms
  • ½ cup diced green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. Transfer chicken to a baking dish and top each piece with a slice of mozzarella cheese.
