Description

A delightful dessert combining sweet and salty flavors, perfect for potlucks and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups pretzels, crushed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
  • 2 packages (3 oz each) strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar in a medium bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom of an 8×8-inch pan.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.
  4. Mix softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in a large bowl until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and spread over the cooled pretzel crust.
  5. Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water in another bowl. Stir in sliced strawberries. Let cool slightly, then pour over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For a crunchier texture, adjust the amount of crushed pretzels. Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
