Description

A delightful treat combining creamy feta cheese with a sweet and spicy flavor, perfect as an appetizer or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of phyllo dough
  • 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 12 tablespoons chili flakes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the crumbled feta cheese, honey, and chili flakes in a bowl.
  3. Layer 2 sheets of phyllo dough, brushing each layer with olive oil.
  4. Cut the layered dough into strips.
  5. Place a spoonful of the feta mixture at one end of each strip and roll it up.
  6. Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with egg wash.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Drizzle extra honey on top before serving.

Notes

Work quickly with phyllo dough to prevent it from drying out. Adjust chili flakes according to your taste.
