Description

A delightful dessert combining the sweetness of ripe bananas with a rich, buttery topping, enhanced with warm flavors of cinnamon and nutmeg.


Ingredients

  • 45 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine sliced bananas and brown sugar in a bowl. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Mix flour, oats, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and baking powder in another bowl.
  4. Stir in melted butter, milk, and vanilla until well combined.
  5. Pour the banana mixture into a greased baking dish, then pour the batter on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
