Description

A hearty and comforting meal featuring savory chicken meatballs and tender orzo pasta in a creamy sauce, all made in one skillet for easy cleanup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Mix the ground chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, and form into meatballs.
  3. Add the meatballs to the skillet and brown on all sides.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and add orzo. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, until orzo is cooked.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and let simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra creaminess, add more heavy cream or sprinkle with cheese when serving. Consider incorporating sautéed onions, bell peppers, or spinach for added flavor.
