Description

A delightful and easy-to-make pie filled with juicy blueberries, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, salt, and cinnamon in a skillet and cook over medium heat until bubbling, stirring occasionally.
  3. Pour the blueberry mixture into a pie crust placed in the skillet.
  4. Dot with butter and cover with another layer of crust, cutting slits for steam to escape.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  6. Let cool before serving.

Notes

Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or powdered sugar. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
