Description

Delicious turkey meatballs infused with sage and cranberries, perfect for a quick family meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb / 500g Ground Turkey
  • 2 tbsp Dried Cranberries, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup / 35g Dried Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Sage, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley
  • 1 medium Spring Onion, finely diced
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 clove of Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • Zest of 1/2 a small Clementine (or Orange)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by dicing herbs, spring onion, and cranberries.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients including ground turkey, breadcrumbs, sage, parsley, spring onion, egg, garlic, cranberries, olive oil, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and zest.
  3. Form even portions into bite-sized meatballs.
  4. To bake: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes on a lined tray.
  5. To fry: Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook meatballs for 8-10 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  6. Check doneness with a meat thermometer (should read 165°F or 75°C).

Notes

These meatballs can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
