A delightful pasta salad combining the classic flavors of a BLT sandwich, perfect for picnics and potlucks.
Ingredients

- 8 ounces rotini pasta
- 1 cup ranch dressing, divided
- 1 cup diced tomatoes (cherry or grape tomatoes, halved)
- 3/4 cup Swiss cheese, finely grated
- 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup bacon, cooked crispy and chopped
- 1 cup Romaine lettuce, roughly chopped
- Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente in plenty of salted water. Drain well.
- Toss the warm pasta with ½ cup ranch dressing to lightly coat and prevent sticking. Refrigerate until completely cold, at least 30 minutes.
- Combine the cold pasta with tomatoes, Swiss cheese, red onion, bacon, and lettuce in a large bowl.
- Add the remaining ½ cup ranch dressing and gently toss to coat everything. Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For added flavor, consider using a flavored ranch dressing or different herbs. You can customize with other ingredients like avocados or grilled chicken.
