- 4 slices of bread
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Pizza sauce (optional)
- Pepperoni, diced (optional)
- Seasonings like Italian herbs (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice of bread butter-side down in the skillet.
- Add half of the mozzarella cheese on top of the bread in the skillet.
- Optionally, layer on pizza sauce and pepperoni.
- Top with another slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Cook until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve hot.
