Description

A delightful fusion of grilled cheese and pizza, perfect for lunch or dinner with customizable toppings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Pizza sauce (optional)
  • Pepperoni, diced (optional)
  • Seasonings like Italian herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place one slice of bread butter-side down in the skillet.
  4. Add half of the mozzarella cheese on top of the bread in the skillet.
  5. Optionally, layer on pizza sauce and pepperoni.
  6. Top with another slice of bread, butter-side up.
  7. Cook until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve hot.

Notes

Pair with extra pizza sauce for dipping and a side salad for a complete meal.
