Description

Fun and easy pinwheel sandwiches that are perfect for parties or quick snacks, customizable to fit your preferences.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 slices of bread (white or brown)
  • 3 tsp butter
  • ¼ cup eggless mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp green chutney
  • ½ capsicum (thinly sliced)
  • 3 slices of cheese
  • ¼ tsp pepper powder
  • 3 tbsp cabbage (shredded)
  • ½ carrot (grated)
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Trim off the sides of the bread slices. You can use the sides to prepare bread crumbs.
  2. Flatten the bread slices using a rolling pin.
  3. Spread 3 tsp of butter over the bread slices and press to seal them together.
  4. Mix ¼ cup eggless mayonnaise with 1 tsp green chutney until well combined, then spread over the buttered bread.
  5. Top with ½ capsicum, followed by 3 slices of cheese.
  6. Sprinkle with ¼ tsp pepper powder, then add 3 tbsp of cabbage and ½ grated carrot.
  7. Garnish with 1 tbsp of tomato sauce and a pinch of salt.
  8. Roll tightly to keep all layers intact and wrap in cling wrap or aluminum foil.
  9. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until set.
  10. Slice thickly and serve.

Notes

Store pinwheel sandwiches in the refrigerator wrapped in cling wrap or in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
