Description
Nutella truffles are delightful chocolate treats made with Nutella and graham crackers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup Nutella
- 1 cup crushed graham crackers (or chocolate cookies)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder (for rolling)
- 1/2 cup melted chocolate (for coating, optional)
- Chopped nuts or sprinkles (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the Nutella, crushed graham crackers, powdered sugar, mini chocolate chips (if using), and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined and a dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to firm up the mixture, making it easier to roll into balls.
- Once chilled, use a small cookie scoop or your hands to form the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
- Roll the truffles in cocoa powder until fully coated. Alternatively, you can dip them in melted chocolate for a richer flavor. If using melted chocolate, place the truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet to set.
- If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts or colorful sprinkles on top of the melted chocolate before it hardens.
- Place the coated truffles in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to set the chocolate.
- Serve the Nutella truffles chilled or at room temperature. Enjoy these treats.
