Description

Delicious bars combining rich chocolate with sweet, chewy coconut.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine shredded coconut and sweetened condensed milk in a mixing bowl until well mixed.
  3. Prepare a baking dish by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper.
  4. Spread the coconut mixture evenly in the bottom of the prepared dish.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or using a double boiler, stirring until smooth.
  6. Pour the melted chocolate over the coconut layer and spread evenly.
  7. Place the dish in the refrigerator to set for at least 1 hour before cutting into bars.

Notes

For a creamier texture, use a mixture of dark and milk chocolate chips. Press the coconut mixture firmly into the dish for uniform bars.
