Description
Delight in mini banana chocolate chip loaves that are moist and flavorful. Perfect for breakfast or a sweet snack!
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 ripe bananas (about 300 g)
- 75 g (⅓ cup) unsalted butter, melted
- 100 g (½ cup) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 5 ml (1 tsp) vanilla extract
- 200 g (1 ½ cups) all-purpose flour
- 5 g (1 tsp) baking soda
- 1 g (⅛ tsp) salt
- 100 g (¾ cup) chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease your mini loaf pans lightly with butter or cooking spray.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a medium bowl until smooth. Add the melted butter, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined, about 1-2 minutes.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl until evenly combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Using a spatula, gently fold them together until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Divide the batter evenly between the two loaf pans. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove the pans from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes before transferring the loaves to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Avoid overmixing the batter to prevent dense loaves. These loaves freeze well for later enjoyment.
