Description

A refreshing hibiscus iced tea, perfect for hot days with a tart flavor and vibrant color.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/4 cup sugar (or to taste)
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Steep the dried hibiscus flowers in boiling water for about 10-15 minutes.
  2. Strain the tea into a pitcher, discarding the flowers.
  3. Add cold water and sugar, stirring until dissolved.
  4. Add lime juice to taste.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator until cold.
  6. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

For a sweeter taste, adjust the sugar as desired. You can also experiment by adding spices like cinnamon or ginger.
