Description

A delightful mix of fresh fruits that’s perfect for any gathering. Refreshing and packed with vitamins, it’s a fantastic way to showcase seasonal fruits.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup lemon juice, squeezed from 3 lemons
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 ripe Anjou or Bartlett pear
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 oranges, plus 2 cups freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 cups (10 ounces) strawberries
  • 1 cup ½-inch pineapple pieces
  • 1 (15 ounces) can sliced peaches, drained and chopped into ½-inch pieces
  • 3 cups ice cubes
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by pouring the lemon juice into a large bowl.
  2. Chop the apple, pear, bananas, oranges, and strawberries, adding each fruit to the bowl of lemon juice as you chop to prevent browning.
  3. Stir gently to coat the fruit in lemon juice.
  4. Add the pineapple and peaches, tossing gently to combine.
  5. Incorporate the orange juice, ice cubes, water, and sugar (if using), and stir gently again to combine.
  6. Serve this refreshing salad in cups or bowls, with the juice spooned over the top.

Notes

Refrigerate for up to 3 hours before serving. Avoid adding ice cubes until right before serving for storage.
