Description

A quick and delicious one-skillet meal featuring chicken sausage, creamy beans, and fresh spinach, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 package chicken sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon juice for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Sauté onion for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Add garlic and sausage; cook until browned.
  4. Stir in beans and spinach, cooking until spinach wilts.
  5. Pour in cream; simmer 5 minutes until thickened, seasoning to taste.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with lemon juice.

Notes

Feel free to substitute chicken sausage for turkey or a plant-based alternative. Frozen spinach can be used if fresh is unavailable.
