Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  2. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, and mix until just combined.
  7. Pour half of the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
  8. Sprinkle a mixture of cinnamon and sugar over the first layer of batter.
  9. Pour the remaining batter over the cinnamon layer.
  10. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  11. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a plate.
  12. Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
