Irresistible meatball poppers filled with cheddar cheese and jalapeños, perfect for parties or a night in.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2–3 finely chopped jalapeños
- ¾ cup bread crumbs
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Barbecue sauce for glazing (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, bread crumbs, beaten egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Using your hands, mix until well combined, then form into small meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter) and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- If desired, brush with barbecue sauce during the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and serve warm.
Notes
Adjust the heat level of the jalapeños to suit your taste. These poppers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
