Description
A delightful treat combining the tangy flavor of cheesecake with the sweetness of fresh blueberries, perfect for breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine the warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the melted butter, egg, and yeast mixture; mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 60 minutes.
- Beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and fold in the blueberries.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and spread the cheesecake filling evenly. Roll it up tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking pan, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, serve warm, and enjoy!
Notes
For best flavor, use fresh blueberries. They can be frozen but should be drained of excess moisture. Serve warm and dust with powdered sugar for presentation.
