- 1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups (400 g) granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups (240 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (240 ml) buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Oreo cookies, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the buttermilk, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
- Fold in chopped Oreo cookies, if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Serve plain or with powdered sugar, whipped cream, or chocolate sauce. Store in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
