- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs

- 1 cup buttermilk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
- Cream the butter and sugar together in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and mashed bananas.
- Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture gradually, alternating with the buttermilk, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan before serving.
Notes
