Ingredients
- Wonton wrappers
- Ground pork or chicken
- Chopped green onions
- Minced garlic
- Soy sauce
- Sesame oil
- Mushrooms (shiitake or button)
- Chicken or vegetable broth
- Noodles (egg noodles or rice noodles)
- Bok choy, spinach, etc.
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients by dicing onions and mincing garlic.
- In a bowl, combine the ground meat, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and seasoning.
- Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of a wonton wrapper, fold, and seal the edges with water.
- In a large pot, bring the broth to a gentle boil.
- Add sliced mushrooms to the boiling broth and cook for 5 minutes.
- Carefully drop in your wontons and cook until they float to the surface.
- Add noodles and vegetables, cooking until wilted. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra green onions.

Chill onions before cutting to avoid tears and ensure wontons are sealed to prevent leaking during cooking.
