Description

Ingredients

  • Wontons (store-bought or homemade)
  • Egg noodles
  • Shiitake or button mushrooms
  • Chicken or vegetable broth
  • Green onions
  • Soy sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Begin by dicing your onions, slicing your mushrooms, and mincing ginger and garlic.
  2. In a large pot, bring the chicken or vegetable broth to a boil.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms, ginger, and garlic to the boiling broth.
  4. Add the wontons to the pot and cook according to the package instructions.
  5. In a separate pot, cook the egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  6. Once the wontons are cooked, add soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the wontons and broth over the cooked egg noodles in bowls and garnish with sliced green onions.
