Description
A quick and easy Swedish Meatball Pasta Bake combining hearty pasta with savory meatballs, topped with a gooey layer of cheese.
Ingredients

- 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 1 lb frozen Swedish meatballs
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, cook pasta al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, sauté onions and garlic in olive oil until translucent, then add meatballs and brown slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta, sautéed mixture, beef broth, heavy cream, half of the shredded cheese, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, top with the remaining cheese, and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with additional parsley if desired before serving.
Notes
For a creamier texture, stir in 1/4 cup of sour cream before baking.
