Description

Delicious and comforting Spinach and Ricotta Stuffed Shells, a perfect meal for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 12 pieces jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until evenly blended and creamy.
  4. Carefully fill each cooked shell with the ricotta and spinach mixture and place them snugly in a baking dish.
  5. Pour the marinara sauce over the stuffed shells, ensuring they’re well-coated, then sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
