Ingredients

Scale
  • 45 lbs beef brisket, trimmed
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 onion, sliced

  2. Place sliced onions and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Place the seasoned brisket on top of the onions and garlic.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cranberries, sliced mushrooms, beef broth, balsamic vinegar, and brown sugar. Stir well.
  5. Pour the mixture over the brisket in the slow cooker.
  6. Cover and set to low heat for 8-10 hours.
  7. Once cooked, remove the brisket and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to ensure perfect doneness; aim for an internal temperature of 190°F for tender brisket.
