Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup mango, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • 1/2 jalapeño, seeded and diced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather and chop all the necessary ingredients.
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper until evenly coated and marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  4. Combine diced mango, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and lime juice in another mixing bowl to make the salsa.
  5. Whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt in a separate bowl to make the creamy cilantro sauce.
  6. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  7. Assemble the tacos by placing cooked shrimp on the tortillas, adding mango salsa, and drizzling with creamy cilantro sauce.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with extra cilantro or lime if desired.
