Description

A delightful combination of savory turkey, creamy cheese, and zesty cranberry sauce wrapped in a flaky crescent roll crust, perfect for holiday gatherings or weeknight meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 tube crescent rolls
  • 4 oz chive and onion cream cheese, softened
  • 1.5 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 tsp finely chopped fresh rosemary or thyme, divided
  • 2 cups shredded Gruyere cheese, divided
  • 1 lb thinly sliced turkey (leftover or deli turkey)
  • 1 (14 oz) can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp poppy seeds
  • 1/2 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1/4 tsp salt (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet.
  2. Arrange crescent rolls in a circle.
  3. Mix cream cheese, Dijon, and 1 tsp herbs; spread over crescent rolls.
  4. Layer turkey, cranberry sauce, and cheese.
  5. Fold crescent ends over filling and tuck under.
  6. Mix butter, poppy seeds, garlic, and brush over ring.
  7. Bake for 22-24 minutes until golden.
  8. Garnish, slice, and serve with remaining cranberry sauce.

Notes

For a golden crust, beat an egg and brush it over the dough before baking. Consider adding sautéed garlic and onion for extra flavor.
