- 4 oz chive and onion cream cheese, softened
- 1.5 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 3 tsp finely chopped fresh rosemary or thyme, divided
- 2 cups shredded Gruyere cheese, divided
- 1 lb thinly sliced turkey (leftover or deli turkey)
- 1 (14 oz) can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp poppy seeds
- 1/2 tsp granulated garlic
- 1/4 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet.
- Arrange crescent rolls in a circle.
- Mix cream cheese, Dijon, and 1 tsp herbs; spread over crescent rolls.
- Layer turkey, cranberry sauce, and cheese.
- Fold crescent ends over filling and tuck under.
- Mix butter, poppy seeds, garlic, and brush over ring.
- Bake for 22-24 minutes until golden.
- Garnish, slice, and serve with remaining cranberry sauce.
Notes
For a golden crust, beat an egg and brush it over the dough before baking. Consider adding sautéed garlic and onion for extra flavor.
