Description
A quick and delicious dish featuring perfectly cooked steak and creamy cauliflower, infused with garlic and spices.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 1 head cauliflower, chopped into florets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prep Your Ingredients: Dice garlic and chop cauliflower florets. Let the minced garlic sit for 10 minutes.
- Cook the Steak: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sear the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove from skillet and let rest.
- Sauté Garlic & Cauliflower: In the same skillet, lower heat to medium, add garlic, and sauté for 30 seconds. Add cauliflower and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Create the Cream Sauce: Pour in heavy cream, stir, and simmer for a few minutes until thickened. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve & Garnish: Slice the rested steak and serve over the creamy cauliflower sauce, garnishing with parsley.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, replace heavy cream with coconut cream and use portobello mushrooms instead of steak for a vegetarian version.
