- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup Asiago cheese, grated
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Sauté until mushrooms are tender, about 4 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in grated Asiago cheese until melted and the sauce thickens.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coat with the sauce, and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
