- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/4 tsp salt
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 4 tbsp butter for frosting
- 1–1.5 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment.
- Melt butter and whisk in sugar until glossy.
- Add eggs, vanilla, food coloring, and vinegar; mix until combined.
- Sift and fold in flour, cocoa, and salt until just combined.
- Pour batter into pan and bake for 25–30 minutes.
- Allow brownies to cool completely before frosting.
- For the frosting, beat cream cheese with butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread frosting over cooled brownies and slice into squares.
Notes
Use full-fat cream cheese for the best frosting texture. You can also add nuts or chocolate chips for additional flavor.
