Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 tsp of baking powder. Mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together 1 large egg, 1 cup of pumpkin puree, 1/2 cup of melted butter, and 1 tsp of pumpkin spice until smooth.
- Gradually incorporate the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the combined mixture into the greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- In a separate bowl, beat 3 large eggs with 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1/4 cup milk until smooth, then pour this mixture over the pumpkin layer.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until set in the center.
- Let the cake cool in the dish for about 10-15 minutes before serving.
