Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking sheet.
- Mix brown sugar and melted butter until well combined.
- Stir in flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and crushed pineapple.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the baking sheet and place a halved cherry on top.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Cool before serving.

For a dairy-free option, substitute coconut oil for butter. Ensure to drain the crushed pineapple well to avoid excess moisture.
