A quick and easy Peruvian dish featuring tender flank steak, vibrant veggies, and crispy fries, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients

- 1 lb flank steak, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vinegar (apple cider or red wine)
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cups fries (frozen or homemade)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking oil
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the sliced flank steak in soy sauce, vinegar, and minced garlic for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a tablespoon of cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak and stir-fry until browned.
- Remove the steak from the pan and set it aside.
- In the same pan, add more oil if necessary and stir-fry the sliced onion and bell pepper until softened.
- Return the steak to the pan and mix well with the vegetables.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the stir-fry hot over crispy fries, garnished with fresh cilantro.
Notes
For gluten-free, substitute soy sauce with tamari. For vegetarian, replace steak with tofu or mushrooms.
