- 1 pound chicken breast strips
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons mustard
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Set up a breading station with one bowl for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip in eggs, then coat in breadcrumbs.
- Place the breaded strips on a baking sheet and spray lightly with cooking oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, honey, and mustard for the sauce.
- Serve the chicken strips with the creamy honey mustard sauce.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken strips in buttermilk before breading. Experiment with different spices in the breadcrumb mixture.
