Description

Indulgent Nutella cookies with a warm hazelnut-chocolate flavor that melt in your mouth.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Nutella and egg in a bowl, then fold in flour until just combined.
  3. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls onto the sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart and flatten slightly.
  4. Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
  5. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack.
  6. For advanced cookies, whisk dry ingredients, cream butter and sugars, and add Nutella until just combined, then fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Chill dough for 30–60 minutes before baking for best texture.

Notes

Chill your dough to prevent spread and ensure cookies are chewy. Use a mix of white and brown sugars for optimal texture.
