Nutella Cake Filling Recipe

- 1 cup Nutella
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream (or milk, for desired consistency)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened unsalted butter with an electric mixer until creamy and smooth.
- Add the Nutella to the creamed butter and mix until well combined and fluffy.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until incorporated.
- Pour in the heavy cream (or milk) and mix until smooth. Adjust the amount of cream to reach your desired consistency.
- If using, add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, mixing well to combine.
- Use the Nutella filling to layer or frost your cakes or cupcakes immediately.
- If not using immediately, store the filling in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Re-whip before using if it becomes too firm.
