Nutella Cake Filling Recipe


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (or milk, for desired consistency)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened unsalted butter with an electric mixer until creamy and smooth.
  2. Add the Nutella to the creamed butter and mix until well combined and fluffy.
  3. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until incorporated.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream (or milk) and mix until smooth. Adjust the amount of cream to reach your desired consistency.
  5. If using, add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, mixing well to combine.
  6. Use the Nutella filling to layer or frost your cakes or cupcakes immediately.
  7. If not using immediately, store the filling in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Re-whip before using if it becomes too firm.
