Description

A delicious and easy low-carb alternative to the classic Philly cheesesteak, packed with savory flavors and rich cheeses.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, torn
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large skillet, warm olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add diced onions and bell peppers to the skillet, cooking until soft and fragrant (5-6 minutes).
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  5. Add ground beef to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned (7-8 minutes).
  6. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and mix well.
  7. Add softened cream cheese, stirring until fully melted and creamy (2-3 minutes).
  8. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and layer with torn provolone and shredded mozzarella.
  9. Bake until cheese is golden and bubbly (22-25 minutes). Let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Customize with your favorite vegetables or proteins. Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for a few days.
