Description

This Lemon Butter Chicken French Style transforms simple chicken breasts into a gourmet delight with a luscious lemony sauce and rich butter flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup flour
  • ⅓ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge in flour, shaking off excess.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken for about 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  4. Remove chicken and add chicken broth and lemon juice to the same skillet, scraping up any browned bits.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer until cooked through.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve.
