- 1 lb flank steak
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella, diced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for grilling
Instructions
- Marinate flank steak in balsamic vinegar for 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Season steak with salt and pepper, then grill for 5-6 minutes per side.
- Rest for 5 minutes, then slice against the grain.
- Combine tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil in a bowl; drizzle with olive oil.
- Serve the sliced steak topped with the Caprese mixture.
Notes
For optimal flavor, marinate the steak for longer if possible. Serve with crusty bread or a side salad.
