Description

A quick and delicious summer dish featuring tender flank steak, cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil, all marinated in balsamic vinegar.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil, for grilling

Instructions

  1. Marinate flank steak in balsamic vinegar for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Season steak with salt and pepper, then grill for 5-6 minutes per side.
  4. Rest for 5 minutes, then slice against the grain.
  5. Combine tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil in a bowl; drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Serve the sliced steak topped with the Caprese mixture.

Notes
