- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup (plus more for topping)
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, ketchup, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and dried thyme. Mix well.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking pan.
- Spread additional ketchup on top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For variations, feel free to add chopped bell peppers or shredded cheese. Ensure not to overmix the meat to avoid a dense texture.
