Ingredients

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 onion, sliced

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by dicing the onions and mincing the garlic.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper and place them in the skillet, browning for about 5 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove the chicken and sauté the sliced onion until translucent, followed by the minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, pour in the chicken broth, and sprinkle with rosemary and thyme.
  6. Bring to a simmer, cover, and reduce heat to low, cooking for 30-40 minutes until the chicken is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
