Description

A delightful fusion of savory flavors and fluffy textures, these breakfast rolls filled with scrambled eggs, sautéed veggies, and melted cheese are perfect for a quick and nutritious start to your day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of crescent roll dough
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup of diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup of diced onions
  • 1/2 cup of shredded cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter or cooking spray for greasing
  • Garlic powder (optional)
  • Chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Ingredients: Start by dicing the bell peppers and onions into small pieces.
  2. Sauté the Vegetables: In a skillet over medium heat, add cooking oil and sauté the diced bell peppers and onions until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Scramble the Eggs: In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and season with salt and pepper. Pour the eggs into the skillet with the sautéed vegetables and scramble until fully cooked.
  4. Shape the Rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough, spoon the egg and vegetable filling onto the wide end of each triangle, sprinkle with cheese, and roll up towards the point.
  5. Bake the Rolls: Place the rolls on a greased baking sheet. Bake according to package instructions, or until golden brown, about 10-12 minutes.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Once baked, let the rolls cool for a couple of minutes, then serve warm.

Notes

These rolls are customizable; feel free to add cooked bacon or use different vegetables.
