Description

A delightful dessert combining rich gingerbread flavors with creamy mousse, perfect for festive occasions.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp gelatin
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients and tools.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the milk, sugar, and spices until warm. Stir until dissolved.
  3. Sprinkle gelatin over water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir the bloomed gelatin into the warm milk mixture, then mix in brewed coffee and vanilla extract.
  5. Whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks and gently fold it into the coffee mixture.
  6. Pour the mousse into dome molds, leaving space at the top.
  7. Refrigerate the molds for 4 hours until set.
  8. Carefully unmold the domes and top with chocolate glaze or fruits.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, use coconut cream instead of heavy cream.
