Description

Quick, healthy, and delicious Thai chicken lettuce wraps made with a handful of simple ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 head of lettuce, separated into leaves
  • Chopped peanuts and fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté garlic and ginger for 1 minute.
  3. Add ground chicken and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in bell pepper, carrot, and green onions; cook for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Mix soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, and brown sugar in a bowl.
  6. Pour over chicken mixture and cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Serve in lettuce leaves garnished with peanuts and cilantro.
