- 2 filet steaks
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper
- Butter for cooking
Instructions
- Season steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Remove and let rest.
- Sauté mushrooms and garlic in the same skillet.
- Add cream, thyme, and parsley. Simmer until thickened.
- Serve sauce over steaks.
